Coronavirus: Foreign Airlines to be restricted o Lagos, Abuja Airorts – FG

New updates concerning the deadly virus commonly known as coronavirus (CONVID9) indicates that Nigeria federal government plan to restrict all foreign airlines only to Murtala mohammed Internaional Airport, Lagos and Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport, Abuja.

The plan is to fully enhance medical and security screening of travelers, mostly those from European countries. Airports in port hercourt, Kano and Kaduna International Airport will be temporarily closed to foreign travelers until the Coronavirus is over.

Speaking with the Director General of Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Capt. Musa Nuhu, he said that the regulator is committed to the safety of travelers as well as Nigeria national health security and would ensure that all necessary things are done.

In relation, Governor Sanwo-Olu of Lagos state who visited the public health Emergency operation centre Epidermology division at Yaba in company of his Deputy governor (Kadiri Hamzat), expressed his optimicism over the level of commitment of the professionals working there. In his words, there is hope that all of this will get behind us quickly, but we have all machineries to deal with.

Similarly, Plateau State commission of health (Dr. Nimkong Lar Ndam) said that 43 people have been quarantined in the state for coronavirus infecion. He said, among those quarantined, 25 peoples are locals while 18 are foreign nationals.

Speaking with professor of virology at Micheal Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU) in Abia State, Professor Maduike Ezeibe said that his MSAMS therapy for HIV/AIDS can also cure Lassa Fever and CONVID-9. He adviced that the affected countries should use the therapy for clinical trial
